Eva Glasmacher

Eva Glasmacher is a classically trained singer. She has worked with many international artists and institutions: Munich Biennale, IRCAM Paris, PICCOLO TEATRO di Milano, JOYCE THEATER NEW YORK, Yehudi Menuhin,s Life Music Now Project, Peter Rundel (conductor), Peter Ruzicka (artistic director, composer), Claus Guth and Johannes Schuetz (directors), Markus Hinterhäuser (pianist), Joerg Widmann, Matthias Pintscher, Sandeep Bhagwati (composers) & Ensemble EXTRACTS. She sang as a soloist with the Dresdner Kreuzchor, worked for many premieres with the OENM (Austrian ensemble for new music), recorded the CD "Lost & Found" with the saxophonist Mulo Francel, with their repertoire of tango, Yiddish songs, chanson and Jazz they toured Germany and Italy. In the premiere of the ballet Bacchae by Paolo Aralla and Luca Veggetti with the New York dance company MORPHOSES, she worked as a voice with dancer Frances Chiaverini. She teaches singing, incorporates elements from the movement language of the Gaga Movement into her holistic concept and experiments with sound and expression.
