Ellen Hünigen

Ellen Hünigen is a composer, singer and musicologist and performs as a clavichord player. She was a master student for composition with Friedrich Goldmann, had singing lessons with Joachim Vogt, attended courses for harpsichord and clavichord and specialized in medieval and renaissance music.

She studied musicology at the Humboldt University in Berlin and in courses with Rebecca Stewart in the Netherlands. Ellen was a founding member of the vocal ensemble Vox Nostra.

She also sings in the vocal ensemble Stella Nostra, teaches piano, music theory and Medieval and Renaissance vocal music at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music, the Academy for Music (Berlin) and other educational institutions.
